My name is Kate Armin and I am married to Chris. We have 3 grown-up daughters, a beautiful grandson, a dog called fudge and a cat called Straus.

In my 30’s I began to suffer from back issues which resulted in spinal surgery in 2018. It is through the many amazing benefits that Pilates brings that I recovered back to full health.

My aim in all my classes is to provide a fun, safe place for everyone to enjoy. Regardless of experience. I believe we all have to start somewhere.

Tuesday 6pm HIIT LBT Style
7pm Pilates Stretch and Relax

Wednesday 6:45am – 7:15am Tabata
10am AMRAP
11.30am Pilates and Flow

Saturday 9:15am Full Body Workout

Sunday 9:30am HIIT

All HIIT sessions are 30-45 minutes long
All Pilates sessions are 60 minutes long

£3.50 HIIT

Why I love Kate’s classes…
After 2 classes a week for over 5 years, I never get bored. Always a different but very beneficial routine. Kate is an expert on fitness and nutrition, at all levels offering personal alternatives when required. We always get a first class workout but also have fun with a great group of people too.


Kate’s community Pilates and Metabolic Effect classes are a fantastic way to keep fit and stay in shape. Kate motivates and guides you throughout. The classes are tailored to suit all abilities and leave you feeling energised, relaxed and ready for the next day’s events.


I have to say through doing this, it has made me realize that it isn’t about being skinny. It’s about being healthy and fit and enjoying life. It’s not worrying about being a size 8 which is great. It’s given me a lot more confidence in my body and fitness :))

Who is Kate?

Kate Armin is a group exercise instructor from Barnsley who specializes in Pilates and Group Fitness Training. She has been involved in the health and wellness industry for 18yrs. She has worked in various gyms, small studios, physiotherapy clinics, and community halls, and more recently online.

As a busy mum of 3 grown-up daughters and a grandma, she knows all too well the challenges that face most of us.

Finding the time to exercise. Finding a class that fits around your busy lifestyles. Finding workouts that are challenging but not time-consuming. Finding a group and community you trust and connect with.
